Land Marks opens March 2, 5-8pm and runs through April 1, 2017 at Shift Gallery, Seattle.
Land Marks — In her newest show, Carolyn Gracz combines elements of monoprint, etching and collage in her work, tiny in individual scale, yet full of detail and open to viewer interpretation. Gracz studies the intersection of ancient and modern marks made by man and nature as her work progresses. This particular set of prints is inspired by Ireland, where the ancient still has it's firm grip, even as modernity intrudes.
